Customisable Lining Type:
Blackout Lining - This lining is a thick, warm, natural cream colour fabric. Blackout blinds are both thermal insulating and light blocking, meaning that they have the added bonus of being energy-saving, too.
Standard Lining - A natural light cream fabric composed of pure 100% cotton.

All Roman Blinds from Expression are Fully Lined
All of our roman blinds are fully lined, and you can choose from standard cream lining, or a cream coloured blackout lining. We usually recommend the white lining for blinds fitted in ‘living areas’, as they allow the light to be gently diffused through the fabric. Blackout linings are ideal for bedrooms, where they can reduce the light levels by up to 85%.
The secret to roman blinds at the back; hidden in tape casings is a system of rods which allow for each horizontal fold to maintain it’s crisp, straight shape. These stack up together when the blind is raised, laying flat at the top of your window, and when lowered fold out to fill the window space.
How do Roman Blinds Work?
Roman blinds are easily raised and lowered by pulling or releasing a cord. These cords run through the system of tape casings behind the blind. When shut roman blinds lie completely flat. The simple side-winder mechanism is available in white or chrome. A traditional pull cord operation is also available.
